We are planning to do an upgrade on our UK server infrastructure. The server IP address will be changing. The upgrade is intended to give a little bit of breathing space to the growing needs of the clients by tremendously improving performance, and improve connectivity.
The Upgrade & Migration is scheduled for:
17th August 2017, 11am GMT
We advised you to not update your site for 48 hours after and during this scheduled time of migration. If you must do an update or change while the migration is happening, please notify us after the transfer has been completed, so we can manually transfer your accounts.
Affected clients should receive an email shortly announcing the new hostname of the server and the new IP.

How long is the migration going to take?
We expect the migration to take around 48 hours to complete. You will receive another email once the transfer has finished.
Will there be any downtime?
No, there will be no downtime during the migration.
Will I need to change my nameservers?
If you are using our ns*.goodhost.in nameservers you won’t need to make any changes. If you are using a third party provider such as CloudFlare or a domain name registrar DNS service you will need to update the DNS information to the shared IP that will be emailed to you.
How long will the old server stay online?
All services will stay online for 5 days after the migration. We will also keep backups of the previous servers for 60 days.
